Father they killed her- they laid her in a coffin
No mercy approached only a man- a prophet
I fell and I cried and I reached out to the sky
Until then I realized the mountains had shifted
I pulled my hand back too late they had already pulled me through the gate
Father, let me explain
The man- a prophet
It was a year the ancient scholars hold sacred
Where a man of noble beauty was born- created
His actions were bold- defying the sedated
He lived a life of perfection- almost as if a selection
He married as ordained
And from their love light was maintained
Twelve men- beautiful and strong and fit to be kings
But Father I’ll explain more on another day- don’t get too caffeinated
The man he told me of a few stories
Come join me
Listen carefully
He was known as the Truthful and Trustworthy
And though an orphan- at the ripe age of forty
The biggest most powerful Angel came forth- announcing
Oh Prophet of God step forward, The People of the House are the reason
The reason the sun still warms, and the Earth still holds
You and your progeny Oh Prophet of God must lead
It starts now- so be sure to be quick- with speed
And so Father his journey began- officially ordained from the heavens we cannot yet see
His intentions to bring peace and justice- respect
And yet Father as we know- God is our witness
The people they cower- hiding in their illness
And yet Father he does not judge- he opens his arms
He knows the battles we face are greatly within ourselves
And so he says to his people
The greatest sacrifice is to battle your own soul- to fight the evil within yourself
From this- Father remember
Do not aim to harm the repressors
Stand tall and trust God will answer your prayers
He has a plan above ours
Detailed and articulated
Do not fret
Be patient
There will be another- the last of his kind
I’ll tell you more about him just give me some time
This man- his beauty
Unlike any other- he says
If only my people knew the intensity of my love for them
They would die from longing to see me
And so Father he told me the world was collapsing
But his progeny- the last of his kind
Was promised- to come to the land
Righteous and grand
He told me they would go after him
With weapons in their hands
And though he would defend himself he would first say
Come join me oh servants of God, do you hear me
The time has come now, please listen and heed me
He told me those with moral intention would be safe behind his lead
And those soaked in corruption would run and continue to mislead
Father don’t worry- I know that they stabbed me
I wore the crown of God and represented his glory
Father don’t cry- look up to the sky
Father, let me explain
The man- a prophet
He has me safe- a promise.
